With time, you will have more and more of positive return you get from being able to work freely on your art. When getting Procreate you get the benefit of some of its main advantages: So it’s pretty easy to learn how to work with it and create awesome art. There are plenty of tutorials on what you can do in Procreate. And you know what you are getting for the money. The good thing is that you are investing in yourself. As an artist, you are literally making an investment when buying an iPad for Procreate. Therefore, if you are not sure how you are going to be using your tablet for art creation, you might doubt the necessity of buying your own. Obviously, the main issue comes with the prices of iPads. Looking back at that choice, I realize that it was one of the best decisions I made in my creative career. So, that is what I did 3 years ago, and I definitely have zero regrets. You can choose a non-Pro version of the iPad and still get the app. ![]() It means that today you do not have to pay the top price to get Procreate. Eventually I did get iPad Pro, because back then only a Pro model supported Procreate. “ To buy or not to buy?” As Shakespeare would have put it nowadays. However when Procreate was launched and I learned about its key features, I could not help but be tempted to try it myself. I knew how to use them to their full potential and it seemed enough. Through years of experience working in these programs, I got comfortable with them. At the time, I was happy with Photoshop, Illustrator and other software from Creative Cloud. I had the same question when making a decision on if I should buy an iPad or not. Is it worth paying high price for iPad if you want to use Procreate? ![]()
